My gorgeous girls

This Saturday I took a few minutes to quickly throw these beautiful dresses on the girls and snap a couple of shots before going down to play on the salt flats. Dresses by Chantilly Rose and currently being sold through Little Glamourettes in South Perth.

Midwest Bridal Expo

We made a speedy trip up to Geraldton this weekend, to shoot the Midwest Bridal Expo again. It was a fun event and all the models were fantastic. This year I had local photographer Verdell O’Brien doing some gorgeous creative work outside, while I just shot studio-style after the models came off the catwalk.

From the Brides of Yesteryear category, this is my mother-in-law’s wedding dress:

Some beautiful gowns from Pazellies House of Fashion:

Suits by Ed Harry

Children’s wear by Best and Less Geraldton:

Hair and make-up by Make-up by Caitlin, make-up artist.

Thanks to Gary and Rose Ann Jupp and Patricia Shaw of the Geraldton Volunteer RFDS Fundraising Committee for the opportunity and all the hard work you put in to make this event happen.

Vibrant

I had a session on Monday morning for some promotional headshots. It’s a new area for me and I’m happy with the way these have come out. Of course, it did help that I had a gorgeous model! :)

Emmet

Had a fun session today, doing some promo shots for a local musician. Emmet tours around performing in towns all over the state. Today we were working on images that can be used on his website and in promotional material. His 6 year old son Casey came along with us, to help me get Dad laughing and to entertain us with his daredevil antics!

Here are a few of my favorites, hope you like them!

Alice in Down-under-land

This little girl travelled all the way from London at only 4 months of age, to see her family over here. It was almost impossible to coax a smile but her beautiful blue eyes observed the entire event. The Australian sun must have been a bit of a shock, not to mention the 38 degree day! She took it all in stride though and we have some lovely photos to show for it.

Soon after I arrived, I was introduced to a selection of special Dockers footballs, to be featured in a portrait with Alice. An image from another one of my sessions had fired their imagination. Alice loved the ball and we got quite a few photos of her with it, here she is getting ready to kick it:

She looks so pretty laying on the bed here:

I brought with me a whole pile of girly accessories but Alice is a modern girl and not into all that. However, we did manage to get a tutu on, to the family’s great amusement. I think we all have to admit, she does look adorable in it:

Thanks so much to the family for being such fun and I hope you love these as much as I do :)
