After watching the forecast all week worried about the rain, Sunday morning ended up being lovely for our session down in a park beside the sea. Niamh is an adorable little girl with such a wonderful mother who worked so hard to keep her in front of the camera from me. I’m so pleased to have captured some of their close interactions

This Saturday I took a few minutes to quickly throw these beautiful dresses on the girls and snap a couple of shots before going down to play on the salt flats. Dresses by Chantilly Rose and currently being sold through Little Glamourettes in South Perth.

It has been quite a while since I have been to Heathcote in Applecross but it is still just a beautiful as ever. It was the perfect spot for this family, who were married here and are now back with their gorgeous children. A surprise visit from up north was a great opportunity to get the extended family together for some photos. Thanks for being so easy going guys, I hope you enjoyed your trip.

Let me preface this post by saying I don’t do weddings. I don’t want someone to stumble across this on the web and think I do weddings. Because I really don’t.
However, my dear friend Vanessa married her long-term partner Neil this year and her photographer pulled out at the last minute. So offering to do the photos was the least I could do.
Big congratulations to the happy couple and their beautiful family and thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day.

I was honored to have been chosen to take photos for Christine and her lovely family. If you have seen my posts about wildflowers and signs in some of our local regional parks, you may recall that Christine is the one who has hired me to work on the signs. She wanted to bring her family into the park and incorporate the natural environment and flowers into the photos. Despite much rescheduling and ending up shooting after school, through light showers of rain, we finally achieved what we set out to do.

Liam was not meant to be in this shot, but I didn’t have the heart to photoshop him out as he just looks so cheeky!

I love going to Point Peron to shoot, the environment is inspiring and it always helps me appreciate how lucky we are to live where we do. This family session was no exception, we had a lovely time wandering around. I had no intention of climbing the stairs but they wanted some photos up there so up we went. My breath was taken away by both the climb and the view, in different ways of course. When we got to the top, a music video was being filmed on the best wall! I still love the shots we got and am very happy with how this session turned out. Thanks so much Fiona for inviting me to help create these memories and for raising such lovely young men.

On Father’s day these four young men got together for this family photo session that had been a gift for their mother for Christmas. We enjoyed the beautiful surrounds of Point Walter and got some lovely shots.

I seem to have had a run of boys lately! Today I was spoilt with a family of older boys and a beautiful environment to work in. These three sons and their dad got up nice and early to beat the rain and the sun and get some photos for their lucky mum. We strolled around Point Peron for a variety of shots and young Lizzie the dog had a ball and managed to star in most of the photos. Thank you guys for being so easy-going and well-behaved – you are a credit to your family

On the drive home to Perth, we decided to go take the coast road and stopped for a visit at the Pinnacles. We were just going to do a very brief stop and quick drive by but it cost $11 per car to get in so we decided to make the most of it. We visited the discovery centre then took the girls for a walk around the rocks. They loved them and it was a great break and of course a chance to take more photos!

I had a lovely session today with my aunt and her partner who are on holiday from Victoria. We walked around Freo, taking advantage of the architecture as backgrounds for the photos. Here are a few sneak previews of what we ended up with:

Thanks for a fun morning and enjoy the rest of your trip!
