When Ainslie said we were going to have some models come in so we could take photos of them in their underwear, I wondered if I should head home early. I mean, I’ve seen some beautiful boudoir photography but it’s not something I’ve really considered doing myself. I always thought I’d feel too uncomfortable.

But, wanting to to make the most of the workshop I stayed anyway and am so glad I did. The models were fantastic and it was like photographing anything else, looking at the light and composition. Maybe because it was all women, there was no tension and in fact was an empowering experience, celebrating feminine beauty.
